COUNTRY: We also have a country home in the mountains of upstate New York. We look forward to teaching our child about nature and doing fun outdoor activities together as a family like hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowboarding (and making snowmen, of course). Having family and friends visit us upstate is our favorite way to spend a weekend. Our nieces and nephews love to come to our country house because they can play in the woods around the house all day and then settle into our home theater to watch a Disney movie or play some Xbox games on the big screen before bedtime. (Okay, so you don’t have to be a kid to love that.)

Our homes...

TOWN:
We live in a spacious two bedroom condo in a cozy village just outside New York City. Families love our town because it’s safe, welcoming and lively, with shops, restaurants, cafes and sports fields. We like that we can walk to everything. Another bonus is that it's also close to Manhattan for easy access to all the museums, arts, events and diverse cultures that make New York City so exciting. Our building has lots of little kids and a play area just for them. There’s also a great park just a block away.  And when our child is ready to go to school, we know they’ll get a great education. The public schools here are rated ‘excellent’ thanks to engaging teachers, small class sizes, and strong arts, music, and sports programs. The great schools are one of the big reasons we moved here. Dave works out of our home and he's excited to be there with our child every day.

Inside: Meg chefs it up in the kitchen. Living room is bright and airy.

When baby first comes home we’ll have their crib
in our room so we’re always close by.

Dave works on  a new movie script in his home office.

Inside: It’s open and comfy with great views of nature everywhere.

We love to have "movie night"
in the home theater.

Meg’s folks are regular guests and we love to take nature walks together.

Summer means lots of family and friends up for Dave’s famous BBQs

Meg and Liam talk about life and the art of snuggling.

When our child is old enough, Dave will show them all the best hiking trails upstate.

This great park is one block away.

Dave’s little cousin, Liam, comes over for dinner (and a photography lesson).

Baby deer are often frolicking around in the yard.

We're surrounded by trees, gardens, and space to explore.
